Fun with Paninis
Jon has been away at a conference all week, so in order to keep myself entertained I had some fun with our panini maker. After trying a different panini recipe for nearly every meal this week, I've found a couple of favorites that I'd like to share.
Italian Tomato Basil Panini
-Ciabatta rolls
-basil pesto spread
-sliced buffalo mozzarella cheese
-sliced roma tomatoes
-fresh basil leaves
Inside-Out French Grilled Cheese
-French bread (sliced down the side and folded inside out for a better grilling surface)
-provolone cheese
-sliced buffalo mozzarella cheese
-fresh tarragon leaves
-lighty spread (or spray) outside with butter before placing on grill
Oh man! Both are so good! They're super easy and tasty if you have a panini maker.

Julie,
Quite possibly the weirdest post I've ever seen from you. I love it!!!
Mmmmm, we have a panini maker, but we haven't tried anything this fancy yet, just the usual cheese and meat sandwiches that always taste better melted. Thanks for sharing your yummy recipes!
That was inspiring enough for us to go buy a panini maker. I loooovvvveeee pesto sauce.
