Hello Dewey!

The adoption is official - we are now the proud parents of this cute little guy!! He is Dewey, a 3-month-old yellow lab/golden retriever mix. He's as cute as you can possibly imagine and we can't stop looking at his adorable fuzzy face!

We picked him up on Thursday from a rescue near Raleigh. He was born in a litter of 9 puppies, all yellow males. We're pretty sure we got the best of the bunch though because he's such a sweet & cuddly pup! So far Dewey enjoys sleeping in our laps, chewing on rawhide, and he's developing some pretty impressive fetch skillz with a frisbee. He was pretty excited today as he discovered his love of pine cones and met his new best friend, a yellow lab that lives across the street.

For those that might be wondering, his name is a tribute to one of our favorite pizza places in Cincinnati, Dewey's Pizza. We already have the next name in the queue in the same theme, but it may be awhile before that name finds it's own pup. We're so happy to have Dewey as a part of our family. He's a lovable little pooch!
