May Fun

My excuse for such a long delay in posting...a broken camera! You know me - I'm lost without a camera in my hand. However, we are now back in action with my camera repaired, plus a fancy new camera for our upcoming summer travels. Here are some highlights to get caught up since my last post:

Weekend at Topsail Island. We had a great time at our friend's beach house on Topsail Island. Dewey particularly enjoyed chasing his pal Kramer around on the beach, and watching Kramer charge through the waves to retrieve sticks. This picture represents one of the last pictures taken with my camera prior to it's sandy demise.

Personality guru certification. I recently spent a couple of days in Winston-Salem, NC to earn my Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) facilitator certification. It was a pretty intensive qualification process, but I am now available for custom interpretations and workshops. While in W-S, I had a chance to check out the sights, including Salem College and Wake Forest University. (Yes, I'm one of those nerdy types that enjoys visiting other college campuses.)

Strawberry picking. Mmmm...I just had to include this picture because these strawberries just look so tasty! We have a couple of great farms near our house where you can pick your own strawberries, blueberries, etc. I picked four lbs. of these beauties a few days ago.

Take your puppy to work day. Although not an officially-sanctioned university holiday (yet), I decided that last Friday was "take your puppy to work day." He made a nice foot warmer while I worked and served as a very friendly greeting committee for all who stopped by my office.

Chase Bed 'n Breakfast. A good friend from Miami, Ron, just left after a weekend visiting from Missouri. We always look forward to people visiting from out of town as it gives us an excuse to get out and be tourists in our own hometown. It didn't hurt that we had some amazing spring-like weather this weekend as well! Here is Jon giving the botanical tour of Carolina. :)

What an eventful month!

Can you interpret my personality? I want something a little more specific than "Type A." It just sounds mean.
