Springtime in Chapel Hill
There are few things better than the fresh, sweet smell of spring! It's especially nice in Chapel Hill these days as the dogwoods and azaleas have come into full bloom all around town. After a few weeks on the road, we took advantage of a semi-free weekend to picnic and laze around around in the beautiful weather. We were celebrating my belated birthday today, so Jon packed a picnic of PF Changs and sweet tea. YUM! Aside from the good eatin', we enjoyed showing Dewey off around campus. We felt so popular as every individual, couple, and family who walked by stopped to pet our Dewey. We also learned today that Dewey is quite the ladies man. He managed to plop himself down on every beach towel and snuggle up next to every college girl out on the grass today. He was just eating up all the attention!

Other highlights from the past few weeks included a trip to Orlando, Florida for the ACPA/NASPA joint conference (student affairs national organizations). It was great to reunite with old friends and get a few new ideas in leadership development.

We also had a visit in Ohio for Easter and Christine & Chad's wedding. It was fun to be a part of Christine's big day! We also appreciated the time to catch up with a few friends and family while we were in town. If we didn't catch you this time, stayed tuned for our next visit. Our time was limited this time around due to wedding festivities (and an unlucky encounter with a stomach flu!).
