Sanding, Painting, Decorating...and Shopping!
My first few months as a homeowner have brought out this stange desire within me to fix and improve things - everything, in fact! Perhaps the Dickman "do-it-yourself" gene has been lying dormant in me for all of these years and has only now been sparked to life. Whatever it is, I know that it is manifesting itself in lots of home improvement projects unfolding around the house (sorry Jon!). Maybe I have a future on an upcoming episode of "Flip that House" or should try out for the design team on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition"? If only! Anyway, here are just a few of the things Jon and I have been working on since the last update:

Your home looks really beautiful and inviting, Julie and Jon. Great job you two! I didn't expect any less though. I saw Julie pick out some of those beautiful colors!
Your house looks huge! Impressive interior design. I'm going to have to call in a pro to do our house, considering that my family really lacks in that category...remember? haha

Love the painted cabinets in the bathroom. And, the blue in the guest room screams, "This is Julie's house!" Nice work. It's beautiful! Can't wait to see it in person.
