McGrads Retreat!

The first ever McGrads retreat was a big hit! McGrads stands for "Miami Christian Grad Students" - it's a brand new student organization that a bunch of us formed over the last year. It was the result of us recognizing that grad students are often overlooked on this campus and there was a unique need to connect Christians across graduate programs. We started with just a bunch of CSP grad students in a couple of Bible studies and we have now grown outside of just the CSP community to incorporate grad students from a whole variety of programs. Last night was one of the first gatherings of this whole group and hopefully the first of many retreats to come. We did lots of eating & praising, learned about what it means to have a Christian worldview, shared our visions for the organization, made s'mores over a fire, and played "the greatest game in the world" until 3am! It was a good time!
