Buried under my books!

Ah, graduate school. I am loving this opportunity to be so intellectually challenged and to expand my mind in such dramatic ways, but it is on weekends like this that I have to remind myself of those positives. It is absolutely beautiful outside - warm & sunny - yet I am currently sequestered inside the library working on a major paper for my Student Development Theory II class. (And since I am am currently writing for my blog instead of writing my paper you can see just how distracted I am today.) At times like this I think about how nice it will be to finish graduate school and have a little more control over my free time, but I also realize that I will miss school as soon as I leave. Then, I guess it will be on to the PhD! Despite the incredible lack of free time I have these days, I really do love grad school. I'm a multi-tasker by nature, so this opportunity to act as an EDL 306 instructor & course coordinator, LeaderShape coordinator, Academic Advisor, International Club Advisor, ad hoc leadership program presenter, Bible study leader, and full-time student all at the same time appeals to that nature. The truth is, those who know me well know that I operate best in this type of busy lifestyle. I just need to remind myself of that when all I see is a stack of books and several major papers looming ahead!

Well, enough procrastinating for now. Back to my theoretical integration paper!
