Our New Home

Jon and I decided that getting married, moving to a new state, and starting a new job (for me) wasn't enough for us - we had to buy a house too! We've been living in a variety of places over the past week (an extended-stay hotel and now in a posh on-campus apartment at UNC), but we have been very anxious to move in to some place more permanent. After a seemingly never-ending search for the "right" home, we finally made an offer on a great house in Southwest Durham. Our new home is just a short drive to Chapel Hill for work and within a short bike ride to one of the best malls I've ever seen (YAY!). We close on the house in just under 4 weeks! So, home-ownership here we come! (Are we crazy?!?!) Here are a few pics of the new digs (Come visit!!):
