Hello Blogging World!

I have been thinking about starting my own blog for some time, but most recently I found the perfect excuse to actually do it. Exactly 5 days ago my boyfriend, Jon, proposed to me atop Radar Hill in beautiful Athens, Ohio. Of course, I accepted and now we are planning our wedding! Since this time in my life is only going to come around once, I thought it would be fun to keep a "journal" of our engagement. I am completely looking forward to planning the wedding (after all, my favorite movie is The Wedding Planner) and I want to capture every moment of it. So, over the next 232 days I will tell the story of us and our journey toward marriage. In the meantime, I guess I will also devote some energy toward school - I am just completing my second year of graduate school in Student Affairs at Miami University. It has been an extremely challenging, yet amazingly fulfilling ride through graduate school. Just six short months to go!
