Windy City - no joke!
Yep, it's windy in Chicago! And cold too! Despite the less-than-desirable spring weather, Chicago is still among my favorite US cities. I flew up north to meet my parents in the city for a Mother's Day weekend getaway. We had a wonderful time exploring our favorites of the city, experiencing a few new sites, and enjoying some good food and relaxation. More than ever, I found myself enamored by the incredible diversity of architecture in Chicago. Among my new favorite architectural wonders: Millennium Park and it's artistic sculptural beauty. Check it out!

In addition to a river cruise and walks along Michigan Avenue, we all attended our first Cubs' game in Wrigley Field. The women got free pink Cubs ballcaps in honor of Mother's Day! Other than the fact that Wrigley is a giant wind tunnel, it was fabulous!

Hey! I wish I'd known you were in Chicago. Josh and I moved here in January. Next time you're going to be up here let me know! Hope you and Jon are doing well!

whoa, sounds like you had a fun time!
I too love Chi Town. Isn't Wrigley Field awesome? Fortunately, we were there on a warm day, though, so I didn't experience the wind tunnel. That was so sweet that you joined your parents there for the weekend. It looks like you had lots of fun!
You go so many places with your family. What a good tradition.
