Sweet Smell of Springtime!
Spring is definitely my favorite time of year! There is just something refreshing about the bright green grass, the new buds on the trees, the warm sun, the gentle breeze, and the fragrances carried in the wind from all the new blooms. While the weather has been pretty consistently nice for several weeks here, this weekend seemed to be the first where all the signs of spring have truly popped. To celebrate, Jon and I did a bike tour of lovely Durham. We took the trails by our house all the way Downtown, where we indulged in fantastically fattening pizza and an afternoon nap in the sunshine. It was great!

mmmm, bikes and pizza and spring. some of my most favorite things! how'd the pizza compare to dewey's and mio's?

NC pizza compared to Dewey's and Mio's?? No comparison!! We've contemplated a drive-through-the-night roadtrip to Cincy just to get some good pizza! We never appreciated what we had there until we left. :( And the ice cream too... You're living the good life there, Jills! ;)
